Short Term Rehabilitation

Our professional team of therapists consists of Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists. The Physical and Occupational therapists will utilize therapy modalities combined with a comprehensive therapy program for strengthening, balance, pain control and increased range of motion. Our Speech therapists incorporate swallowing, language, and cognitive procedures to meet the needs of our patients.

Rehabilitation involves not only the patient but the entire family. When the goal is to return home, the patient’s prior level of function is a key element that our social services and nursing staff strive to obtain upon admission to ensure a safe transition back to home.

Long Term Care

Our Long Term Care facility is separate from our Rehabilitation unit but with the same hotel-like atmosphere. Located in the small community of Barling just outside of Fort Smith, Arkansas, we provide that small town hospitality to our residents and families. Our staff are not only caregivers, but a team of innovative professionals genuinely committed and dedicated to caring for our residents.

Respite Care

When you or a caregiver have a planned vacation or just need some time to rest, Ashton Place Health & Rehabilitation can provide Respite Care services. Your loved one will experience all the activities and services provided to all our residents while you are away. We provide medication assistance, daily housekeeping and laundry services, and daily meals and snacks.
